Just finished sewing the top of this together. I found the kit a couple of years ago, I originally bought it for a secret santa present. But fell in love with the border fabric, so it stayed here at home with me. It went together pretty fast, but think I'll take a break from doing any pinwheels for awhile. The fabric is all 1800 repo's.

It measures at 46 x 56, still not sure how I'll be getting it quilted. I haven't learned how to machine quilt yet, so I'll need to have someone else do it for me.

I sent you a pm but wanted to show you this picture of the redwork block I mentioned. I plan to make it into a pillow. I just loved the humor in it.

Unless you are not interested in quilting it yourself you should give it a try. There are plenty of books out there but save your money. Cut your bottom layer at least two inches wider and longer than your top. Put the batting on next. Lay the quilt top on the other two layers and pin together. I always pull at the bottom layer to make sure it doesn't have any wrinkles in it. After you do a few quilts it becomes easier. You can outline stitch it. Hope you give it a try.

Finished pillows decided to make some for birthday gifts. They were fun to make and I am so happy I found some Wizard of Oz material too.
