It is adorable!! You will make a child very happy with this. :D:D:D
Simple quilting is good on these, and quite a bit of it, so they stand up to a LOT of washing.

That is a wonderful quilt! And you have a real eye for matching fabrics too. You're doing great! My first quilt looked terrible...you look like you're catching on faster than I ever did!

Looks great! I see a lot to be proud of - corners all match, borders straight and even, the quilt is nicely squared and flat.

Why not do diagonal quilting or a meander. I understand they like them to be closely quilted so they'll hold up better to all the "love" they receive.

It is very attractive and I think a little one would really enjoy it. Please keep showing. There will always be some one better. I enjoy making basic usuable quilts a lot. It is very relaxing and the thought of the recipient enjoying it gives me a lot of gratification. I think this is the same for many quilters. Even those that make masterpieces might also enjoy making functional more basic quilts.
