Grandson's toddler quilt

My grandson came with me to Hobby Lobby and picked out fleece for his big boy quilt. His favorite character is Buzz Lightyear, so that is what he picked. I got other fabric to go with it, got ideas from the QB picture gallery, and this is what I came up with. Did stitch near the ditch. Last picture is of him with new blanket on his third birthday. Don't know why he can't smile and keep his big blue eyes open!

Very nice. I have used flannel in my quilts but never fleece. Was not sure how it would hold up and the fact that it is stretchy I thought would be difficult to sew into blocks. Yours looks great!
