Granny's Garden, by Lori Holt

To pass the time as my home was being built, I participated in this sew along with Bee in My Bonnet and completed the center while living in my RV. I moved into my new home about 2 weeks ago and the first room I set up and unpacked was my sewing room (lol) so I could sew a bit each night to decompress from unpacking. I finished the border this week and hope to quilt it this weekend on my domestic. I even made some fun stuff using scraps from the project. This is my new guest bedroom. Such a fun project and my first Holt pattern... The fruit crate was repurposed to make a stool and the 16" Hexi pillow are 1/2 inch hexi's...no pattern....The tiny pillows are from book "Bowl Me Over" by Debbie Busby. I'm addicted to these tiny pillows and made a bunch more using other fabric... So, I'm still here and been busy! All applique turned edge and machine sewed...

Everything is so pretty, Teen! And yay on moving in, exhausting but so satisfying.

Beautifully done Teen. Your house is beginning to look like a home. I love all your fun use of color and dots.

Teen, Very pretty quilt and hexie pillow for your new home. Love your little pillows, too.

Teen, congratulations on your new home. I’m happy to hear you are getting settled in and now back to sewing. Your projects are delightful and lovely...I can’t wait to see more of your work now that you have your new sewing space.

Oh those flowers are gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!! Well done!!!
I love those tiny pillows and the fabric you used to repurpose the crate. What a great idea. Your new house is already a home!! Congrats on moving. |
Beautiful! I wanted to do this sew along but got scared away by the applique. Her farm girl vintage 2 is on my Christmas wish list. I just love all the little accessories you’ve made. That pillow is my favorite. Congrats on your new home!

You do beautiful quilting!

Fun projects to focus on while waiting for your home. Love how that they all coordinate. Adorable pillows too.
I love them all! The colors are so soft you can float away in them! Well done.

That is so pretty! And the other projects are great too

Very pretty quilt. I follow her tutorials but never have made one. Really love your pillows-especially the one with the small hexies. That is so cute. Congratulations on your move and enjoy your new home.
Oh what a sweet little bunch of "somethings", Teen. All look so cute together and so inviting in your guest room.
Amazing! You have been busy. I love all of Lori Holt's stuff. Haven't attempted that one yet … you did a beautiful job!
Everything is so pretty and I love what you did to the empty crate. Where did you get the legs, adds a very nice touch.
All of your projects are beautiful. Beautiful colors too.
So many great projects to decorate your new home.
That turned out great Teen! I remember when you posted the first blocks. Very appealing pattern and you did a faboo job.
What a great Quilt. Love it, your projects remind me of how important it is to use light background with designs. I have 30's fabrics but not nearly enough with white backgrounds. Congratulations on your new home.
Very cute I love the pattern.
I love the way you did the borders on the quilt. I will for sure borrow that idea sometime!
I love all your projects! Everyone is special.
