I just tried doing that on a lap quilt(sewing over tissue paper with design drawn on it). I was trying to practise some FMQ over it. I don't have a stitch regulator & many of my stitches were really small. Well, anyway I have a mess in some places where the paper is still stuck in the stitches. I tried to soak the paper out, but that didn't work. I tried brushing in off, I tryed picking it off & I still have a mess. Any more suggestions!!????

BTW, the feather designs are going to look wonderful!!

Your feather designs are very pretty - precisely fit the space. That's wonderful work.

Thanks everyone. Back to work on it this morning. Hope to finish it up tomorrow.

Sandee, sorry, I don't have any suggestions on getting the paper out of your stitches. I tried that on a practice piece but decided the fabric moved around too much under the paper so I didn't go any further with it. Hope you come up with a solution. That is what I don't like about paper piecing, however, since I have shortened the stitch length way down it is easier to get the paper out.
