Very pretty - looks way more involved than a 5 hour quilt!

Pretty! That 5 hrs must have been completely uninterrupted w/ no potty breaks! Impressive

Yeah, I always wonder if those times are counting EVERYTHING including, layout, cutting, sewing, pressing, quilting. I think not. Unless you are sewing one piece of fabric to batting to one piece of fabric. Usually takes me one 5 hour block just to plan and cut it out. I DID do a quilt in one day using the jelly roll end to end method and fleece for backing, and a very light quilting on the long arm. I am very impressed with the grey one. I love it.

Grann

This is not quilted. It is only A pieced top. I used a pattern. I don't "plan" the quilt except to choose the fabrics. With only 16 blocks it went together fairly quickly.

Oh, okay!!! That is more like it. You do things like I do. I don't "plan" either. I usually take a pattern and then fly with the idea, taking my own spin on it. I can understand the "5 hours" then. I didn't mean to infer that you were "lying" or anything. I was thinking about those "Quilt-in-a-Day" books. They are not truly quilts-in-a-day , but something to get you to buy the books.
