Oh its just beautiful! That is one of my all time favorite patterns. Yours looks so vintage with the green "paths". I just can't wait to see it quilted.... such a beauty!! LOVE IT.

Just beautiful, I see you managed to get your pics uploaded.

you do lovely work, I wish I could finish mine. I started it and then about 12 flowers into it I decided ...well maybe we could do something smaller or different! Love the quilt beside it also!

Very pretty.

I am hand-quilting a GFG also, with some help my my guild friends. Mine is huge and I hope to have it quilted by end of February. Have been working on it for 6 months a little at a time. We can encourage each other. Yours is lovely. I did not do the top of the one I am working on. I had an internet friend send it to me because she no longer wanted it. I was truly lucky to receive it.
Wow, Don, it has come out beautifully! What a masterpiece! Very "vintage" looking!
That reminds me of my Grandmothers...enjoy the hand quilting!
Beautiful quilt. Have fun hand quilting it. I wouldn't have the patience for that. Can't wait to see it quilted.
I love Grandmother's flower Garden. I have three, one not finished from the 1900's, one from the 30's and one from the 80's. They are all beautiful. I didn't make any of them but am thinking about finishing the old one.
It is Beautiful-
Love both quilts. What a wonderful job! Thanks for sharing...your work is inspiring!
I'm working on a GFG, king size. I'm almost finished with the top. But, I'm not sure how to quilt it. I love hand quilting, but don't want to quilt around each hexagon, as I've done before w/a baby quilt; that would take far too long on one this size, (and I don't have much time in the day to work on it). I'm kinda thinking about maybe quilting the center hex "round", like the inside of a flower, then working the remainder in the petals. What are your plans to quilt your GFG?SandyinZ4, what is the quilting pattern that you are doing on yours?
Your quilt is beautiful. Mine looks very similar to yours. Can't wait to get it finished to the quilting stage. Have one more row to finish.
Wow! It is fabulous and it is going to be a lot of work to hand quilt it...but well worth the effort. what a treasure.
