This is a great quilt! It's sot of hard to wrap my head around how it is assembled - good for you to tackle it. Great colors and should be an impressive example at the exhibit.
A few years ago, the CDC here in Atlanta had a show of science-based quilts and someone did a collage to create a picture of Einstein - stuff like that. Another did examples of cells. It was a GREAT show...

I'm certain that it will be seen by very observant and appreciative eyes.
