I'll try to make a long story short....
My Kenmore sewing machine died on Saturday morning, the motor froze and there's no fixing it. So on the way back from repair shop, I drove by the Bernina LQS for their 2nd opinion (from the ladies there), and yep, it was a gonner. Meanwhile it was the last day of their big sale on .... Bernina's, so I put one on layaway, not the high end ones, but the 220. When I spring that one loose from layway, I'll post the pictures.

When I told my friend Stephanie of the ordeal, she said 'why don't you just take my sewing machine?'. I said I'll borrow it...and she said, no...just take it, it's yours! I was so excited.

It's an older, but in pristine condition, White sewing machine. I love the stitches and it runs like a dream. I'm thrilled! It came with the cabinet.

Now, how's that for a great friend!
