This old machine deserves all the love and respect you are giving it. It has seen more of life and hardships than I hope any of us ever have to see.

Love these stories and to see the machines still being used. Would loved to have seen the finished project she was working on.

I have a 1950 Singer machine that was given to me by a co worker, it was her mother's. It weights a ton, but I parked in the kitchen and I use it if I have lots of sewing to do (I prefer applique) it sew better than my Jenome.
