Great Spiderweb E2E for Spider Man

I found this panel on my travels and am so happy with the end result. The quilt top itself is not spectacular! It does double back on itself a lot so I had to set the machine to go very slowly so the thread did not break.

The pattern is called Spider Webs and can be purchased from Wasatch Quilting. I used Midnight Blue Shannon minky for the back and Hobbs Polydown batting. Oh and the panel was WAY out of square but I think the red being off a bit looks pretty good.

Fun and fabulous. He is always a favorite!

Did you use a magnetic hoop or hoop in a regular hoop? I love using the techniques of E2E.

I do not use hoops. It was done using Pro-Stitcher Premium a computerized quilting system for my HQ machine.

Looks great!
I was looking at that panel this morning.
Where did you find the yardage for the borders?
I love the quilting. How did your machine like the Minkie?

I bought the border fabric from Wallmart believe it or not but it was the last of the bolt. If you go to quiltshops.com and put Spiderman in the search you will find the shops that carry spidey fabric.

As for the quilt machine I never have a problem. I attach a 4 to 5 inch piece of scrap fabric to the top and bottom of the minky so I can pin it on the machine easier. I use the pearl end pins so this also makes sure that the quilt I machine never gets near them! Here is a pic of a quilt on my longarm - I used hot pink canvas cloth as I use it over and over again. I just do a short baste to attach it to the minky

It turned out beautifully. Quilting is perfect for the panel. Will be perfect for a young Boy.

Fabulous quilting! That quilting motif could be used with a Halloween themed quilt as well.
