As I have posted before I like making 60" sq bed toppers. Set on point they drape nicely over the bed or cover the top of a queen bed nicely from the pillows to the footboard.

Here's one I made for my SIL. The greens are off in the pic. They match much better in real life!

Very pretty. I'm like you, I love making toppers. I have a hard time sitting still long enough to make a bed quilt so these fit my style perfectly.

Very pretty .... like you I find the 60x60 or slightly smaller projects much
more fun than a large quilt. Plus you can move on to more fabric and
projects in a short time.
