This is the quilt I'm making for my daughter-in-law's 21st birthday, which is in a couple of weeks. Green is one of her favorite colors, and the colors in her living room.
I had posted this earlier and a couple of you noticed (which I hadn't!) that I had a block with backwards pieces in it. I took it apart and fixed it! Thank you again! :D I want to make a label for it, letting her know that she's as loved as the many hours in the making of this for her. (haven't figured out the exact wording yet) Has anyone used 'Ink Jet T-shirt Transfer iron on sheets' to make labels with before? I've made a sheet with inspirationals sayings on it, for other projects, just haven't used them yet. Wondered how well it holds up to washings, etc. This is for her couch, and they have two big rowdy dogs too, so I'm guessing it will get plenty of washings. Diana :-) |
Beautiful. I'm sure she will love it.

It turned out so pretty - it will be well loved. I can't help with the transfer sheets as I've just used some, but haven't been through the wash yet.

Your twisting ribbon is very pretty. Your DIL will love it. I haven't used iron on transfer paper~

Thank you Littlehud, Debbie1, and Alaskan Lady!!
I'm guessing the transfer sheets will work. I just have to download another program to do the reverse lettering for it. Thanks again! :D |
I like that!

Diana, It turned out really beautiful! Great job. |
Diana, your quilt turned out just gorgeous!! :D
Green is also my very favortie color, so I LOVE it!! :D Thank you for sharing with all of us. Cheryl :D :D :D |
Looks Beautiful! Great job

I love your daughters quilt!!!! Wonderful Job!!!! :D :D :D As for the iron on sheets, I would print to fabric. My kids used the iron ons for different school events on teeshirts and they do not hold up as well as the printed on fabric did. I don't know if it was the 100% cotton teeshirt material being different from 100% cotton quilting material?? Just my opinion
