from greeting card....to wallhanging.
 

I received a greeting card from a friend. i liked it so much I am making it into a wallhanging. I still have work to do on it, but it has been fun to do.

This is very sweet. You are talented to make this reproduction for yourself. I have things I cherish like that. I used to paint, and did a couple of paintings that hang in my house that were made from inspirational cards. They wouldn't make good quilts though.... Keep up the good work, and thanks for sharing. The wings were cut from Paisley fabric. I have a little stiffer backing on the wings and leaves so i could get a 3-D effect. It has been fun. Am going to downsize and make mug rugs too. I think I can say....You----_____. like niece, or sister, or boss anything like that to personalize them.
