That is cute!

I love this and have the pattern but have yet to make it. I do have some leftover Halloween fabric I could use...hmmm.
|
How adorably creative you are !!
|
LOL I think every seamstress need one of these on their wall. The skull with the scissors is perfect. Where ever did you find that?
|
Thanks everyone. My sewing friend isn't coming to town until the end of October now and I can't wait for her to have this so I'll mail it to her.
The fabric is Quilt Pirates by Michael Miller. A friend found some at a jobber and then I managed to find the other two colourways on the internet. http://www.ladybuttonfabrics.com/cgi...5#.VBmr4bktDcs https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1800...w_type=gallery There is also a fabric with skulls and knitting needles. |
That is sew cute !!!

That is so cute! Well done!

Purrrrrrrfect!!!!!!!!!
Great choices of fabrics, and placements ... making for a nice hanging. Both friends will enjoy it as a reminder of you .... as it is a perfect fit for your Halloween mind, to morph the Reaper into a Ripper!!!!!!!! Are you going to finish your block into a wall hanging for yourself? Great creativity ... sew well done! (sorry I am late on the comment ... was out of town for awhile, so just catching up now!) |
Thank you.
I hadn't really thought of it as a reminder of me. What a nice thought, I think. :D Haven't decided what to do with mine yet. It is in the box with the other Halloween blocks for a mini swap I am doing. I don't want an identical quilt out there, even if the other one is miles away. And I was really pleased with how I finished this one. :) |
:DYes ... a nice reminder of youuuuuuu ..... in a weird halloweeny warped sense! :D
I'm sure you will figure out another unique way to finish your Ripper off, without duplication! |
