Groucho
 

Just finished this 72" x 72"quilt with 11 different fabrics to create the picture of Groucho Marx. If you don't see it at first step back from your screen a bit or squinting your eyes sometimes helps. I have learned since making this quilt that you have to be somewhat elderly (like me) to know who Groucho is. The next one of these I try I'll have to pick a more contemporary figure.

Cool! Just saw one like this in a quilt show that was of Elvis.

well i know who Groucho was but can't see him. maybe if I back up a mile. i never can get things like that. but if i do, then i can never see any other design that may be there. brain freeze i guess.

I like it. Had you not told me, I would not have known!! Once you see him, you can't "unsee" him.

I just saw something the other day about the Marx Brothers, I guess I am older too since I remember them, oh the good old days! Your quilt is great did you figure out how to get his face on there, or was it a kit.
