Last year in my local quilt group we passed around shoe boxes that had fabric from that person and we all made one block for them with their own fabric, and at the end of the year we got our box back with the blocks that everyone made for us and our left over fabric. This is mine. I just love, love, love it.

That turned out great! I love the idea of using your own fabric. So many swaps or whatever this is called end up with something odd in them that throws the quilt off for me. Using your own fabric guarantees that it will all cooridnate in the end. Love it.

Wow, you really got some neat blocks! Did you have a theme you wanted to guide everyone? Using your own fabric gives a very cohesive look to the quilt. Great quilt!
