I made a pair of these bags, one for a dear friend of mine, whose birthday was Saturday, and one for myself to take our quilts and stuff going to guild meetings and to workshops, the dimisions are 18x25x8. we used them last night and they made it alot easier..I am thrilled with mine.

I really like that bag. I can't wait to take a class to do this. I bought a pattern but it looks a bit confusing.

I made this one on the fly..no pattern..It was a lot of fun..on the inside I wanted a row of pockets on one side and a large square pocket on the other..well doing two at a time..when I got them done, my friend had the rows of pockets and I ended up with both sides squares LOL..

Nope, just knew what we wanted/needed and started out quilting the fabric then cutting.

I figured it wouldn't take that much longer to cut out 2, so they are exactly the same.. we took them to the guild meeting thursday night and it sure made it alot easier carrying out stuff rather than walmart bags lol

Your bags look great & love the size.Takes me back to when I was making clothing.Had to make 4 of everything...all in diff sizes.Cause one DD would say "I like that"....then other DD ...then Grdaughter.Wasn't much harder to cut out 4....I just kept each pile of fabrics separate in zip locks, then chain sewed each part.
