Gummies Quilt

That is the name of this Villa Rosa Pattern. I had a half yard of some non-traditional Christmas fabric (white with modern trees) so I found other fabrics in coordinating colors and made this. The white print is the only holiday fabric in the quilt. I meant to post this before Christmas, but I did make it in early December and gift it before Christmas so that was a win. I used a stencil for the tree design, then just did straight line quilting in the other areas of the blocks. Thanks for looking!

The quilted trees are impressive. I didn't realize that stencils would work so well! Good job. And the quilt itself is adorable. Great job!!

Very pretty non-traditional holiday quilt. I really admire anyone who goes through the effort of custom quilting. I'm ready to be done with the quilt after it's pieced, so I just use my computer-driven longarm to finish my quilts. I do enjoy that part of the process, however. I never enjoyed FMQ on my DSM or my sit-down Tiara.

I love the colors of your fabrics. I especially like the tree stencil you used to quilt your design. When I read the name, Gummies, I thought I would see gummy bears. :)

Nice;y done. Love the perfect size throws that the Villa Rosa patterns make. Will have to look to see if I have Gummies or not because you've given me an idea for a layer cake. Thanks!
