Halloween Cross stitch into quilt square wall hanging

Not positive my title works, but it's the best I can come up with at the moment. Normally when I do these types of wall hangings I quilt them, so they are "cross stitch quilted wall hangings", but this time I didn't quilt it, just added the borders, and quilt hanging corners on the back piece to hang it on the wall (I really hate finding frames for cross stitch pieces). This is a gift for my daughter, who is turning 23 on Saturday.

I really like the leaf fabric, no idea where I got it, but wish I had more.

Thank you for looking :)

Very nice, great job !

Love it! Great work. I used to do counted cross stitch, but one I turned around 45, my eyes do more crossing than the cross stitch!

That's going to make your DD very happy.

I enjoy CCS, too, and if I want it for a wall hanging, I use fabric for borders, too. Not always quilted, sometimes mounted to fabric, then mounted to foam core board with batting behind the fabric.

I have a friend, though, who finds the greatest inexpensive frames for her CCS.

Both yours and DJ's are really nice. Never tried CCS. I do like embroidery though.
