Just got the binding sewn down on this. I am sorry to say that it has taken me a year to finish as life got in the way. The pattern is from Anita Gooddesign...

I know how it is about life getting in the way. I haven't finished my from last year, and didn't even take it out this year. Great job on finishing it!

Amazing work!

IrishNY 10-30-2017 02:53 PM

A year? And you're apologizing? I would be doing a dance if I finished something with such beautiful detail in less than a decade. Nice job!

mucky 10-30-2017 03:13 PM

At least it’s done for this Halloween!

jlt37869 10-30-2017 04:08 PM

Gannyrosie 10-30-2017 06:19 PM

Lots of detail, Wow! Is it a panel or appliqued? Beautiful

quiltingshorttimer 10-30-2017 07:46 PM

Wow! I think it would have taken me way longer than a year for all that detail.

copycat 10-31-2017 02:18 AM

It was worth the wait as you have done a fantastic job on quilting the details. Happy Halloween!

rootyr 10-31-2017 04:01 AM

A lot of work there! Awesome!

LilaKay 10-31-2017 05:20 AM

It takes about 45 minutes for each tile...this is after I have chosen the thread color. Sometimes it takes longer to decide on a thread color than it takes to run the embroidery design

This is a "tiled" embroidery design done on my embroidery machine. The pattern is from Anita Gooddesign and is embroidered a section at a time. It is a combination of machine applique and thread painting. When you buy the design the files are included...just load them into the machine and have fun!!
