I finished these today, it is from a pattern called "Hot Buns" from the pattern shoppe. I have had the pattern since 1985 and don't know if it is still available. It was so old it called for naugahide in the center of each pad and binding, i didn't use either just pillowcased it. I didn't add anything on the cutting line so they are a little smaller than they should be. If i make anymore i will add seam allowance since i am not going to do binding.

Cute

GABBYABBY 10-25-2011 09:56 AM

I love them!!! What would be cute too would be
a pot holder plate. It could be used to put hot plates
on. Then everything would be useable. I love this
idea and I think I just might have to make one
for a gift!!! Thank you.

Love 'em.

Years ago, I made floor pillows for my kids--2 all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun. Oldest kid still has them in her attic.

Oh my gosh - I have been looking for this pattern. I purchased it years and years ago - but when I went to make it, not all of the pattern was there.

granky 08-04-2020 05:02 AM

Now those are worth making room on your counter to display.....nice!

juliasb 08-04-2020 05:53 AM

What a cute idea! I could have that hamburger ready to serve in my kitchen any day of the week.
A very useful conversation burger.

Jordan 08-04-2020 05:58 AM
