My 2nd attempt at hand quilting ... went much better than my first attempt ... I did "big" stitch hand-quilting, and actually marked my quilt so it made it much easier. I did have a hard time with the curves, so more practice needed there.

That's a lovely 2nd attempt at hand quilting and I like the pattern and colours. Practice makes perfect, so keep trying and as with driving, slow down for the corners.

Two things: I LOVE your hand quilting. I LOVE the design you made. Aren't they Drunkard's Path?

I love to hand quilt and your quilt is beautiful. I have never seen drunkard's path blocks set together like that. I love your fabric choices and the setting it is truly unique and stunning. Keep up the great work.

They are kind of drunkard's path ... I used that template, but then had to trim the blocks because there was too much blue, and the oranges wouldn't "join"

Beautiful quilt and hand quilting. Years ago I hand quilted my quilts in small stitches (all that was done at the time). I taught myself to machine quilt and It is so much faster, I have never looked back.

I still have four hand quilted quilts. Now I give away most of my quilts or donate.
