Thank you, everyone for looking! It is remarkable that he is so healthy at 95. He still gets around on his own power. All his kids are now in their 60s, and we joke he's in better shape than any of us. Mom passed away a year and a half ago at 92. He's handled that better than expected.
Sometimes when I hug him, I realize these same warm arms wrapped around me were at one time wrapped around a woman born 100 years before me....his Grandma.....she was 11 years old when the Civil War started! The connection to history is just amazing.
