Just finished this yesterday for my Hubby's birthday on the 17th. He picked out all the fabric and the backing is fleece. He wanted lining in it also so it would be warmer. Luckily it's not so hot I can't sleep under it. It's already on our bed, and he loves it! |

Beautiful bright quilt! Fleece has become my favorite backing so soft on the skin and cozy.

I like how you did the balloon border since it is directional. I'll have to remember that next time so I don't waste time and fabric cutting it directional for the sides of the quilt :)

Your colors are the ones I like to use most in my quilts. Every one of them is rich and bold. Just look at how they seem to float above the blue background. You two make a good quilt team!!
