I love this table topper/wall hanging...so I finally made it. It is from McCall's Quick Quilts, Nov 2007. The one in the magazine had a spider web on black material surrounding the ghosts, which really made them pop. But I just used plain black and it was not as good looking. So I just sewed spider webs on the black material with white thread -- and it turned out great, don't you think? I didn't know I could do that....Thanks for giving me the confidence to try something like this. The people on this board are amazing!

Great job! Our oldest daughter's birthday is Halloween and this year I sent her a set of pot holders, coasters and matching apron. Where did you find your pattern for this table topper? It could be next year's gift.
Love the spider webs. It turned out so cute.
Happy Halloween.

I love it and how you made the spider webs. I liked it so much I just finished that pattern too. Only I made mine to be a throw for the living room.

Halloween fun! Great job, I thought the webs were fabric.

Ok. It's not a good photo. It's too windy outside to hang up and the colours aren't as bright. To enlarge it I just used the 'leftovers' to make a border. My DGD drew the faces. I did a spider web in the black and white blocks and echo quilted the ghosts. I think it's gonna snow tonight.

I love this Board of creative people. From simply adorable to gorgeous to fantastic, all of you help the rest of us get those creative juices going. And your quilt is a perfect example.
You did a great job on the quilt and love the different interpetations you all find to finish out your projects.
As for snow, we got some more last night on our peaks and it certainly feels like the last part of fall for us already though the trees are still wearing their yellows, golds & reds. Needless to say, break out the fabrics and let's start working on this year's winter cover ups.

Thanks LastGrandma. I am just too cheap to throw out those leftovers and I couldn't see another use for them.
