Ahh! I can smell the earth from here! Yes! It's spring!

Your quilt sew cheerful! We have plenty of real flowers down here for the start of spring, but in a few weeks I'll be envying your weather.

I love your tulips. They are beautiful. I am in KC. We had 80 degrees a week ago on Friday. Today it is cold and we have a winter advisory predicting up to 10 inches of snow tomorrow! Oh well, gives me an excuse to stay inside and sew.

happy spring to all

Gotta love Maine. We had another foot of snow yesterday and overnight to welcome the season. I'm afraid we call it late winter here. That doesn't keep me from thinking about warmer days to come. Sometimes I have to grow my own flowers though, to brighten the landscape. I thought I would share them with you.

Very pretty and a nice "picture of spring" that comes eventually in New England.

What a lovely wallhanging!

I like it very much. We have the same problem in Idaho. It never follows the calendar.

Beautiful tulips! We're not in Maine but the weather forecast is still for 6 - 8" of snow tomorrow night and Sunday. :-/

Well, this time last year we had temps in the 20+ degrees Celsius (that's pretty warm for you Farenheit folks) & we were golfing on the 29th of March 2012 !!! Right now, we have had snow off & on (more on) for the past week and a half & still more to come. My front yard has at least 5 metres of snow & my backyard has at least 6 metres of the white stuff. No golf this year until probably July !!! I think someone turned the snow switch on & forgot to turn it off.
We are so discouraged here but I keep telling myself Spring is on it's way (I hope & pray). You lucky people who are in the sunny & warm parts of the country. Love your creation though. Makes me think Spring is REALLY on it's way. |
