My son want a Harley T Shirt quilt and I have been searching for something with Harley on it, where did you find the black and white fabric with Harley Davidson on it? Eveywhere I ask they tell me Harley has a patten on the fabric and they can't sell it

Fabaddict 03-27-2011 05:40 AM

nope, no mistakes but they aren't mistakes anyway, they are planned design changes. (VBG)

quilt3311 03-27-2011 05:47 AM

Have a friend who rides a Harley. He would love it. May have to see if I can get his wife over to see it.

Great job! I'm making a harley quilt for my fil some time this year, this gave me a lot of inspiration!

Yup I noticed that! Some times I typed crooked too!

I bought a set of twin sheets. The middle of the quilt is the pillow case. I got them from amazon.com

dinlauren 03-27-2011 06:40 AM

Oh well, the mistakes give it motion....you did beautiful work. Thanks for sharing

sidmona 03-27-2011 06:42 AM

Great quilt! Had to really look for error and wouldn't have noticed it if you hadn't mentioned it.

grannypat7925 03-27-2011 07:16 AM

I don't see any mistakes. It is great!

davis2se 03-27-2011 07:24 AM

I would never consider those mistakes. I'd let everyone know that I planned it that way!!

mrs_uncle_fuzzy 03-27-2011 07:41 AM

Same and it doesn't detract from it because it still matches where you did it.

Quilt looks great =)

joyce j 03-27-2011 09:17 AM

Homespun 03-27-2011 09:36 AM

Can't see any mistakes. It definately a manly-manly quilt.

Dkm 03-27-2011 11:44 AM

I don't look for mistakes.....I look at the beautiful quilts.

Taughtby Grandma 03-27-2011 12:17 PM

What mistakes! It's fabulous!

snicktrain 03-27-2011 12:31 PM

It's supposed to be that way. You did that on purpose, didn't you? Looks hot to me. It's one of those don't ask don't tell things. You have to be looking for a mistake to MAYBE find any. Most people don't look for mistakes, they just look at the beautiful overall look. Which is great.

GramaLaura 03-27-2011 12:33 PM

They are not mistakes......they are design choices!! :-D

sewdarnbusy 03-27-2011 12:40 PM

I made a "bear Paw" quilt. Two blocks had wonky claws. I noticed when I was half done quilting it.
Sometimes it's hard to keep HST's pointing in the right direction. It helps to keep a model block next to the pressing board, to compare.

cjinvt 03-27-2011 12:42 PM

No, but very cool!!

IBQUILTIN 03-27-2011 12:49 PM

nope, not a one

A Bear Paw, or Cat's Paw is an awesome design to turn into a paper-pieced block. I've done it both ways and like pp-ing for this design. Nice sharp paws/claws.

chickadeee55 03-27-2011 01:01 PM

I know a few people that would just love that quilt. Nice

love fat quarters 03-27-2011 01:04 PM

there is no mistakes in quilting because only God is perfect

janiesews 03-27-2011 01:46 PM

I don't see mistakes. My nephew would love that!

Cam22 03-27-2011 02:21 PM

I am amazed at the number of "mistakes" that are missed unless it is brought to our attention. When I look at a quilt, I'm not looking for mistakes just looking at the love and time that went into making something spectacular. Love the quilt and refuse to see any mistakes that aren't there. :)

meant2be 03-27-2011 02:43 PM

I don't see any mistake. I see a quilt my son who has a Harley would love. I'll bookmark it.

debbieoh 03-27-2011 04:30 PM

Nope love it. what's wrong

franniequilts 03-27-2011 05:10 PM

wow, it is awsome!!!!! i do not see any mistakes. i think it is great! my brother would love it! tahnks for the tip on the Harley logo!

PattyS 03-27-2011 06:11 PM

I don't see any problems! My avatar could use it to wrap in now as it is really cold here in TN. Our Harley is waiting for warmer weather to ride. It is tired of sitting in the basement! Nice looking quiLt.

clynns 03-27-2011 06:21 PM

Since no one is perfect I consider all 'mistakes' to be honest attempts at being humble. I think it is beautiful.

peggy463 03-27-2011 06:46 PM

calicocat,
was that Harley quilt a pattern or did you think it up?
peggy

MrsRodgers 03-27-2011 06:58 PM
