I think it's hilarious and several of my gay male friends would love it too. I could see using this fabric for potholders as a fun gift. A whole quilt in this fabric? Probably too much of a good thing???

BevF 02-11-2011 08:13 PM

LOL! You could applique each guy onto various backgrounds and make them look like they are behind windows in an apartment complex with or without the lower half of the window "opening" to reveal the rest of the man. Better yet, give them drawers that fold down attach at the ankles. Use hearts and pink tiger fabric in the quilt too. What a conversation piece for a pin-up gal.

Renee110 02-11-2011 08:48 PM

I like it!

GGrammie 02-12-2011 03:12 AM

Not even amusing.

ladyslipper 02-12-2011 03:35 AM

I was actually thinking of buying some of this fabric to make a pillowcase for my single friend.

teacherbailey 02-12-2011 04:37 AM

I think it's FUNNY! My daughter would love it because it is so over-the-top cheesy.....

quilt3311 02-12-2011 04:56 AM

Oh dear!! But I could see this cut up for a stack n' whack or a OBW. Now that might be "very" interesting. grin

As I have looked through six screens worth of comments, I didn't see what first came to my mind. Besides some of us gals loving this fabric, wouldn't gay men love it!!!

I would consider purchasing it just for the novelty of it! Pillowcases for that special friend would be great. I know I have a girlfriend would would get the biggest charge out of them!!

So I have 4 daughters - today when they are all awake, I am going to ask them their thoughts! They are 25, 21, 17, 14. I will update with their opinions! The 25 will say yuck for sure. It will be interesting!

pokergal3 02-12-2011 05:31 AM

I would make either PJ pants, or boxer short out of it.

edensgaite 02-12-2011 05:43 AM

...you could make a pillow case? Would give new meaning to "McDreamy" All ya need is a "hunk" of cloth.

MTS 02-12-2011 05:47 AM

Or you could practice your trapunto skills......

#1piecemaker 02-12-2011 05:57 AM

Wonder what it would look like in a OBW?

lillybeck 02-12-2011 05:58 AM

I would love to have a piece of this to send to a friend of mine, we both have a weird sense of humor and only she and I would get it. She made me a shirt for christmas that said, Friends are like bras, close to the heart and there for support. Like I said some others do not get our sense of humor.

pajama pants for the bachelorette!

Cheshirecatquilter 02-12-2011 06:22 AM

I would make an ironing board cover out of it. That would make a boring task fly by.

fabric lover 02-12-2011 06:33 AM

Something for an 'I spy' quilt?? LOL

GladGrams 02-12-2011 06:36 AM

Looks like the old trick of "socks in the pants" has transferred to the fabric designer too! Sorry just had to mention it.

hairquilt 02-12-2011 06:39 AM

You would be amazed what you get out of that fabric doing a kleidescope pattern

LindaJR 02-12-2011 06:45 AM

This would be kind of fabric to use on something that would catch people's eye, like a pillow, just to see their reactions, maybe keep a camera handy and pad of paper to write down reactions LOL.

cafegold2 02-12-2011 06:46 AM

Make boxer shorts?

Yes. as soon as I saw your post picture, Alexander Henry! He has a complete line of Men and Women Pin Up fabric. Very colorful, my DDIL love it! She uses the fabric for pillow cases for gifts. Of course you need to know the recipient very well. Do a search for Alexander Henry Fabrics you can see all his designs.

mrsddh97 02-12-2011 07:53 AM

Too funny.

jcwholland 02-12-2011 08:03 AM

bluekrissyspikes 02-12-2011 08:09 AM

SewExtremeSeams 02-12-2011 08:20 AM

I saw that fabric this past week and made note not to buy his fabrics...Alexander Henry...

Ridiculous was more along the lines of my thought. Please, designers, leave that stuff off our much loved fabrics. :-D
