Heart Blossoms, by Anka Treasures

I made this oversized Queen quilt for my mother. I made it large enough for her to be able to tuck her pillows under at the head so that is why there is only a narrow pink border strip at the top. With the leftover fabrics, I made matching bed pillows. I created HST’s using the scraps from the stitch and flip corners on the big quilt and designed a baby quilt to use up the remaining scraps and the HST’s. I chose the anvil block and the heart block, which is a free download from Cluck Cluck Sew. Baby quilt will be added to my inventory, which was running low….. Mom’s quilt and pillows will be shipped for Christmas this week. I love the soft colors of this quilt…it screams “my mom”…
