The pattern is just a 60deg diamond ruler, with alot of making it up as I went along. Next time I make a pattern like this I will need to write out the pattern first cause it didnt work exactly like I wanted. But it worked enough :)

Thank you everyone, now if I could just get the motivation to make the label and attach it :p

You did a great job! I love it and the quilting. The name suits the quilt. Thanks for sharing!

I give my quilts unique names too. My DH teases me about it. I have quilts with names like PeptoBismol because of the pink, Merry Christmas Crazy, That Ugly Fabric Quilt (turned out beautiful), Tissue box, Sunglasses, etc., get my drift? So glad to hear that some one else does the same. LOL
Your quilt is beautiful and sentimental. Love it.

I have a 60 degree diamond ruler, that cuts 4.5in diamonds and is marked for smaller diamonds. I used a 2.5in jelly roll, I cut the first 2.5in diamond. Then I sashed each piece with a different strip, sewing opposite sides on first, trim then sew the other 2 sides on, then I trimmed it up using the 4.5in diamond ruler.

After that I sashed with the white, believe I cut 2.5in sashing...I pieced it on the diagonal, similar to doing squares on point, Had to add pieces on the edge to get it sorted nice.....probably should have written up a pattern first, but figured I could wing it.

Hope that helps
