That is a cool quilt. Your quilting is lovely but doesn't distract from her top

Great job on the quilt and quilting....I believe that on Missiour Quilt videos shows a example of doing the heart design with strips or maybe just squares....I'll see if I can find it. Ok here it is...She used 5" charm squares, but you can use strips to make the square and apply the technique to making the blocks.

So if you are using a jelly roll, and using 3 strips per block that would measure 6.5" unfinished block, so I would think that the square to make bottom half will be 6.5". Then for top squares one would take 6.5" square and cut in 4...I could be completely wrong, but sound right.

The name of pattern is Heartstrings, I posted this on page 3 as others had asked for name of pattern, and I know my block size is different then Missouri Star.

My client used a jelly roll of a moda line, I will check later on line to find it, after I bring my husband to airport I will post a picture of mine (it is not quilted yet) I made mine a couple of years ago and plan on getting it quilted this week while my hubby is gone, this quilt is one of my favorite easy quilts to make, I can't wait to see yours, I love sharing to see what other people come with from the same pattern.
