This was a gift I made for my nephew's wedding. I was debating whether to give it, but I did, because it was my husband's family. That's not as bad as it sounds, it's just that NO ONE in his whole family sews, and they think EVERYTHING I do sewing wise is phenomenal (or at least tell me)
The fmq is far from perfect, but it's so much improvement over how I used to do

I knew the wedding was coming up and had the quilt finished when the invitation arrived, but when we got the invitation, I think maybe I should have made another quilt, with different fabrics.

Their reception was at the zoo, and their invitation was white, with black writing, and red zebra stripes, and the bridesmaids wore red dresses. Oh how much fun I could have had with that. Now if I had made a quilt with that theme, I know pastels would have been the way to go.

You are phenomenally one of a kind. Enjoy that pedestal! Nothing wrong with it. It looks beautiful.
