on a quilting machine. I have an innova. I can't do anything but straight lines on a regular sewing machine. :)

Yes, all free motion. With the feathers, I like to draw a line on the fabric with either chalk or a disappearing marker.

You should look into getting a dvd by Adam Chenevert. He has awesome instructional videos. He's on etsy. I bought his dvd and the breaks it down so it's very easy to do. Here is a link to his dvd.

For anyone that is trying to learn how to feather....this has been so helpful to me and I spent so much time practicing and could never get it until I got this.
