Hello Sun BOM January block

When you print the design, make sure it's sized to 6 1/2 inches. My computer transposed the design into something smaller. I put it in Word and expanded it to 6 1/2 inches.
I love the freestyle raw edge applique of the Hello Sun design. I've never done this type of applique and so I tried to used the same technique. My stitching is more uniform than then example, so I'll try to do better next month. (Isn't it hard to break out of a mold sometimes?) The edges are fraying nicely so I'll probably not sew right up to the edges of the fabric.
Besides....I love snowmen! Can't wait to see February! |
