The green or the rose.

I agree - either the rose or the purple (or is that navy?).

And it's not even about the colors. It's about the value. The green is way too light - almost the same value as the OBW blocks.

The purple makes a nice contrast but I also like the rose.

The rose was my first choice, but then I found the green and think that it does give it an airy feeling, and I do lose the one edge of the cube with the rose. Waiting for DH to come home and give his opinion. He tends to help me with those final choices a lot. Thanks for all the advice.

And now I have another question. If I did use the rose, would it look strange to do some white stitching along the rose edged cube to help make it stand out?

I agree.

I like the green one.

Use the light green. All the other colours look nice too but overshadow the blocks. When you make OBW blocks as nice as those, you want them to be seen!

My two top choices are the green and the rose. Each gives a different 'feel', so go with the one you like best.

I think your idea of trying the white stitching if you go with the rose should work nicely.

I like the green. Sets it up beautifully. Can't wait to see the finish quilt. Keep us posted
