I did these last winter and early this spring. The one that has green and blue has borders on and backing ready to be loaded on frame. the one that is brown tones still needs borders (quick and easy).

I just have no idea how to quilt then. I'd like to do something besides an all over design, something more custom.

Any and ALL suggestions would be great. I have a 4 day weekend and would like to get at least one of them done, but I am having a brain blockage. :)

I can't help with the quilting but your quilt is beautiful.

Gosh....those are lovely! Your colors are so "together". Still too new at this to offer quilting suggestions, so I am going to watch and see what the others come up with <smile>.

Beautiful quilts .... where did you find the larger templates/pattern.
PM please.

Thank you all so much. The colors for the blue/green one are quite different when on their own. The green is actually a sort neon'ish green with brown paisley. Its what I am using for the backing on that one. I will be stash shopping for the backing on the other one.

The pattern is from a book. I think it is called Traditional Quilts Made easy. The cover is mostly blue. When I get home I will try to find it. And there are no templates. Just use a pencil/pen to make some marks as the pattern states. It is time consuming, but I love making them.

Here is a link from the forst time I posted the blue/green one. The info for the book is the last paragraph of my beginning post. I will also PM you the link, too.

Well I love the quilts. AS far as quilting designs..I think you have to take advantage of the circle.... Quilt something in the big circle ...then focus everything around that....I think that will just make it pop out.

How about a nice open feather in the circle then feather where the other circles would start if it was bigger. But then maybe some sort of filler, but where and what type? You're starting to get my thinker working. Thanks! ;) I have the ability to do the work, but lack inspiration and direction most of the time still.
