I think the vintage block is likely called nosegay as Janey found out, but Judy Laquidara apparently put it in a more modern pattern called Topsy Turvy Nine Patch. Sometimes it takes a village (or a bunch of quilters with access to the internet) to put all the pieces together.

Yes, it's entirely hand pieced.

There are so many useful replies here. What a great community! Thank you for all of the resources and information. I'm attaching a couple of other pictures so you can see the fabrics included. I'd love to date it by fabric if anyone recognizes one.

These are so pretty! Thank you for posting more of the fabrics. Is the solid block a true lavender color? I see two that have be sewn in upside down. love it!

My best guess is the 1940's. Looks like some feedsacks. What a sweet quilt you have!

Quilterscache calls it nosegay, but that isn't what usually is considered nosegay quilt block. https://www.quilterscache.com/N/NosegayBlock.html I also found https://pickinstitchin.blogspot.com/...fit-gifts.html which has the 9 patch like yours. That is what got me looking for nosegay. I tried an image search and found another with 9 patch on etsy, but it was a full quilt and unavailable item which didn't have a 'view original' listing. https://www.etsy.com/listing/8355536...h-basket-quilt

I found the block used in a project called Floral Bouquet by Chris Carlson in a book I have. The hardcover book was published in 1998 and is titled Easy Nine-Patch Quilting. It’s listed as a pretty miniature quilt as the block size is 3 inches! I’m sure you can resize it easily from the last picture I have included. If not maybe someone here with a design program can figure the sizes out for US. -lol- I’m too tired today.
