someone posted a little of boxer puppies on my facebook page today & what were all 6 of the puppies on but a hand made quilt! I asked my neice to get a price & the puppies & tell him I wanted the quilt too!

If most of the holes are in the background, which would be hard to fix without being noticable, you could cut out the applique parts, with batting and backing, and reapplique them to new blocks. Would give dimention to them, too.

Oh when I hear about this sort of thing I just want to pull a Rumpelstilkin jumpin' up and down tantrum!!

There should be a special place in you know where for those who treat handmade quilts like this!

What a lovely over-all Sam!!! BLESS YOU For rescuing it and saving it! Whoever the quilter was I'm sure is very thankful!!! I don't know about restoration.

I'd soak it in Oxy clean and rub a paste of it on the spots. i got out pencil that was yrs old that way.
