Well spotted, yes it's the 6500. I've had it 2 years and still love it. It's such a luxury after 30+ years using a mechanical Singer with only 5 stitches. The (wo)man who invented the thread cutter and needle down should get a medal lol.

Our mains voltage is 240, and I believe yours is around 220? Theres no obvious electrical modifications - just a standard lead and plug, no transformer. If there is a transformer it must be built in on the inside....

Quick quote from my husband - I wanted some scissors but I didn't touch yours in case I got a row!

I did reassure him that there was only ONE pair of scissors I was precious about. But if he touched them he'd have to buy me a new pair...... Lol

Of course you knew I meant 120 v lol. In my defence it was only 6.20 am here and mybrain was still half asleep lol
