Help me with kids fabric, I'm clueless!

Thumbs up or thumbs down? These are "Yo Gabba Gabba"... and I know they're based on a children's show on Nick Jr., but my kids are all older, and I wouldn't have a clue as to what's popular among young kids!

Should I order these for the shop... or not?

They may be good for a two to four years olds. But to be honest I don't think you would sell very much. But I don't have young children, so I could be wrong.

My youngest are 6 & 9. Both have never liked that show....thank goodness

What kind of clientel do you have in your shop? I think that would determine whether or not to order this fabric. My ggranddaughter loves the show but she is 4.

I would not order these. I do not think it would sell well.

Ditto -- I think the audience for these would be very limited???

I like them - but I have a 5 year old...

My niece, who is 12, loves that show.

bluekrissyspikes 11-08-2011 07:07 AM

my kids like that show, i wouldn't buy the fabric. i do my best to change the channel when that comes on before they notice. it's a really annoying show, kindof like teletubbies.

Meh. Anyone who goes to the trouble of making a quilt for a young child in this fabric would be dating it. In other words, the child would probably quit using it by age 5-6.

I agree, I wouldn't buy any of the fabric you posted. Sorry!!!

Hmmm...tough one. I know that fabric.com just clearanced a lot of this type of stuff. If you do there would only be a couple I would do. Maybe the green background, the one with all of them all over and then a couple with the characters and the title all over. Good luck!

I don't care for the fabric, but then I don't have any young children & have never heard of the show.

I have a three year old grandson who loves this program, but I don't think I would do a whole quilt
in this. Wish I had it when I did his I spy quilt, which I just finished.

Not for me. I tend to use more generic fabric - bugs for boys, butterflies for girls. I think the quilts will be used for a longer time.

I do quite a lot of kiddy quilts but I don't think I would use much of this fabric! Just my 2 cents worth!!!!

Think it just depends on the child but think this would be for very young kids.
