She wanted jewel tones and stars so I have that covered. She was living in New York and he was living in Calgary so they spent a lot of happy times in airports. The pattern is from Prairie sky quilting, triple expresso-shake, rattle and roll. I think the one I did is called shake. And it's done in all batiks. I hope this worked... |
How about Wings to the Stars? That takes in the flight element, the stars, and the future ( sort of reach for the stars type) Beautiful work!

When I look at the quilt, I see forms that are holding hands. So I think of togetherness and communication.
