Hello all
I found what I consider a couple of treasures this morning. The problem is I have no idea what pattern they are. I would appreciate any help with the pattern names or age that you all can give. Thanks! |
Hi and welcome from Ninnie in NC!!!
The yellow is churn dish! |
What Ninnie said..
the other, I'm not sure has a "formal" name. |
I'm not sure what they are called except BEAUTIFUL :D :D :D
|
The churn dash has many names ... My favorite is Hole in the Barn Door. LOL. The first one I am not sure about. It looks kind of like postage stamp sized scraps she set into a quilt. Slightly in the irish chain style.

i know the yellow one is churn dish but don't know what the other is but if you find out let us know they are nice quilts
|
I sure appreciate all the help. :D
I wish I knew more about quilts, but maybe this is my chance to learn. |
I think you've got yourself some really pretty quilts. I know the churn dish, but not the other one. I'm sure someone will know it, sooner or later :)
|
Well, regardless of what you call them, I call them pretty!

Just for the sake of it I googled the hole in the barn door ... I am not disputing anyone... I just love that name. LOL! Truely there are tons of names for this block.
