I like the black dots too. But if you want to make the quilt larger, you could do a narrower inner border with the black dots, then the piano key border. I'd probably do the black dots for binding too, but would decide after the rest is done. :)

Thanks for all your help guys, I think I will go with the black dots then. thats what I was thinking too but it always helps to get a second opinion.

Chiming late, because they both look nice, I'd see about using both somehow. Like maybe, a narrow border with the back dots, make that a solid black, add the piano border, a bit narrower than currently, then end with a wider black dot.

At least it sounds like an interesting option????

I LOVE how the black with dots looks on it--the coordination works great. The other, to me, is too busy.
