Ok I have done it right before. I posted my sewing room pictures and got my avatar on. Why can't I post pictures of my quilts?
I have good photo software,PHOTOSUITE, which makes it the right size in pixels, and jpg or gif. I sent photos to my pictures, in documents, and about everywhere else on my desktop, harddrive you name it. Please someone give me some ideas. Am I saving them in the wrong place? Am I haveing an episode of Olds Timers? Being I did it right before and now I can't? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! :? :? :? :? BillsBonBon Bonnie |
It could be that your internet service is abit slow at the moment, and its timed out...other than that I have no idea why it won't work this time...just keep trying as you know we love to see everyones work!! :D

You also have to be sure to put something in the subject area, I think. Seems like one time I tried to post a pic and it wouldn't until I'd filled that in. It's also sometimes very slow loading the pics. I have to watch the little green bar at the bottom to make sure it's all loaded before I get frustrated and x out of it.

http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/429.page is the full directions. The only time I have run into trouble was when photos needed to be resized. Double check the size - it could be listed as inches instead of pixels.

Do you have dial up I had trouble until I made my pictures much smaller in size. The byte size not the inches size. My computer would actually shut down that window and ask me if I wanted to open a new web browser...

Bonnie...I don't have a clue why they aren't loading now...Here's my Mom's advice on how to fix anything.."now dear....hold your mouth right and try it again!! ":D

Thank you Guys. I have had some pretty awesome moments the last couple of days form loosing myself,LOL   to wondering what I am doing wrong in this.  Actually it is the file is to large. Now if i can just get the size right I can post some nice pictures.
My Mom always said hold your mouth right and wriggle your ears. Oh My Gosh! I haven't thought about that since I daughters were little. :) :) :) Bill'sBonBon |
Well, there you go! See, it helped you figure out what was wrong...I hadn't heard the wriggle your ears part. It must be that I worked so hard at holding my mouth right that it would have just confused the whole issue for me to add ANYTHING else to that!!

I hope its not sometimers because I'm having problems with attachments to my e-mail it keeps telling me I need an usb cord. go figure
