Please, please, please give us the site where we can buy this pattern!!! It is waaay toooo cute!! Your friend is lovely, especially her cheesy smile! Bless you for doing such a caring thing for her. I'm sure this quilt will give her great comfort.

I learn something every day, I need to as I have a lot to learn. Now that I have learned about the shirt quilt, I am going to hunt down the pattern. I love it.

What a wonderful idea for a memory quilt. I too expected to see blocks made from the shirts. What a wonderful thing you have done for your friend as she will have not only the memory of her husband but of the time you both spent working on the quilt.
As to the SIL, sounds like she just didn't want to do it. If she has been quilting for 30 years how could she say she couldn't make it. Unless it was her brother who passed and she would have found it painful.
Like lots of others I'd love to know where she bought the pattern.
