Ok my customer/friend made this for her DH and I quilted all kinds of manly designs on it. She was so happy and when she gave it to him, he said, "Oh, another quilt." She had never given him a quilt before now. That's a man for you! LOL. It's ok, she just went on to another quilt. Got to love this gal!!!!!!!! :D

Glad she could laugh at his reaction. Great quilt.

She is a better woman than I am. Not sure what my reaction would have been.

That's really nice.

MEN! (... well, some of 'em, anyway)

The quilt is beautiful! I trust your customer/friend knows her husband well enough to have anticipated such a response. Even so, I wish he had rewarded her with a more enthusiastic/appreciative response!

Mine, too. My Dad was always like that. One year, I attached a note to his gift with an alternate suggestion of uses for what I had made him. I told him I had made it out of love, but he was welcome to stuff it with love, too
He laughed, and never has made another brainless remark about things I do for him again, and he is now 94!
