Lovely quilt. I haven’t been brave enough to attempt scallops yet

I love your quilt!! It's absolutely a beauty and your friend's quilting takes it over the top!

Hope the marks come out. You both do beautiful work!

Get you some Oxiclean powder and put about 3 or 4 big scoops full in your washing machine and let the quilt soak for 3 or 4 hours at least then add soap to the oxiclean water and wash as usual rinsing at least twice and then air dry or machine dry if the marks are gone and they should be, if not repeat and soak longer like overnight maybe and then wash and rinse twice again. Hope this helps, I add Oxiclean to my regular wash and find it helps removing stains etc much better than soap alone,

Lovely job on the quilt top and beautiful quilting job. When we were teaching, I used Jo Ann's ink remover and pencil mark removers on Jerry's shirts and they worked. I think the Oxiclean just might work well to remove the marks.
