Here are 2 quilts done
 

Here are 2 quilts, that I have done. Both quilts are from Judy Martins book Ultimate book of quilt block patterns. I have another quilt, from her book I will start in a couple weeks. The 1st quilt, is called Beach party. This quilt, I will hand quilt. My other quilt, I'm working on is 95% done. There is 1 block I did, with solid blue corner sq. After that block, I decided I dont want solid blue sq's thru out my quilt. So I used multiple colored sq's. The 2nd quilt is called China Town. Why that name, not sure. wonderful, as always, Don. I was wondering, how do you pick your colors and/or fabric? Do you get your inspiration from the fabric when you see it in the store, and then pick the pattern.....or do you pick the pattern and then go shopping for fabric ?
