I found the pattern for the fruit basket stuck away in one of those "I'll get to that later files" and after making it I found that I love it.
The angel one is a pattern by Curtis Boehringer.

Both are lovely, but I really like the angel. :-)

I really like your angel, I just completed one up to the point where I need to add her hair, but I lost interest and set her aside. She is a folk art type of angel. I think you've inspired me to add hair .. the pattern I am using doesn't have hair just a halo? It was a kit, I purchased years ago and I really don't care much for the fabric's they used. I love the way yours turned out, so graceful! Lovely Job!

Love the fruit basket, so colorful

I especially LOVE the fruit basket. It's just beautiful. But, it looks like a lot of work. Especially the grape bunches.

The angel is nice too. My favorite is the fruit basket because it's so colorful.

They both are very pretty. I'm not brave enough to try applique. Someday maybe.
